Jon Phillips

His notable involvements include Open Source and Free Culture movements, Inkscape, Open Clip Art Library, building community for Creative Commons, and now Status.Net.

Bassel Safadi

About arab world opportunities and showcase different open projects from the region including art/music/films and software.

Sean Bonner

About how hackerspaces and the close knit social networks around them are using the real time web to interact with each other.

Ejovi Nuwerer

Monetizing your user base and content. How to identify and define the market opportunity, how to measure performance. Key performance indicators for online monetization.

Akiba

Talk on hackerspaces and the democratization of technology. Discussion on why hackerspaces are needed, what happens when you get a group of people together with skills in different domains, mutual education among the members, and the huge amount of creativity that can be found there.

MichaelQTodd

I would like to lead a discussion on the pluses and minuses of using twitter and facebook and you tube in more than one language
Should we have separate twitter accounts for our Japanese and English audiences/followers/friends
Do our businesses need facebook fan pages for each language?
I am constantly grappling with this difficulty for both myself and for clients and have some interesting case studies that will promote debate

Lance Shields

Depending on interest I'd like to facilitate a short discussion about how Japanese companies can do social media for a global audience (example: centralize it vs. enabling affiliates, a global voice versus a domestic one, etc.)
